Kind of sketchy of a name you say. Yea it’s gnarr for sure, but the reality people is if it’s a good skate spot and its skate able you better believe we will be shredding it. Every spot had its name. Here are a couple names off the top of my head of skate spots in IL that had unique names or just quotable. The micro ledges. Down town Chicago spot. The abortion banks. I can’t remember where they were exactly but I know Maine west high school was near by. This is a good one. Scum banks. If you’re from chi town you should know that one for sure. What else. Red ledges/ art institute ledges. Picasso bank. Taco bell spot. I know there is an extensive list of spots I am just drawing a blank at the moment. Any way this is a photo of my friend tom at the abortion banks. Mark gotch is in the background. Nose bonks were in those days, and the pick looks like it was taken little late on the downward spiral, notice the cloths too…. blind jeans and a white t-shirt. Thanks Tim Gavin for the fonzy days. Happy days?

So many thoughts run through my head when I look at this picture. The things we went through. The pain the trouble the agony. If you had forknowledge of the pain you where gonna suffer but you knew what kind of glory it would bring God would you still do it? dscn9639

When Josef Stalin was on his deathbed he called in two likely successors, to test which one of the two had a better knack for ruling the country.

He ordered two birds to be brought in and presented one bird to each of the two candidates.

The first one grabbed the bird, but was so afraid that the bird could free himself from his grip and fly away that he squeezed his hand very hard, and when he opened his palm, the bird was dead.

Seeing the disapproving look on Stalin’s face and being afraid to repeat his rival’s mistake, the second candidate loosened his grip so much that the bird freed himself and flew away.

Stalin looked at both of them scornfully. “Bring me a bird!” he ordered.

They did.

Stalin took the bird by its legs and slowly, one by one, he plucked all the feathers from the bird’s little body.

Then he opened his palm. The bird was laying there naked, shivering, helpless.

Stalin looked at him, smiled gently and said, “You see… and he is even thankful for the human warmth coming out of my palm.”

Yes, Stalin will not be forgotten.

Wow – that trips me out when leaders go astray. Just fear tactics? Is that the way it is to be done? What about you as a parent? Or even a business owner?

Keep us in your prayers. It would be a big move for us and an act of faith. We aren’t sure yet but obviously the Lord said you will be my witness in your neighborhood and to the ends of the earth. Go to enochmagazine.com for the links of the scotland episodes. I went there with enoch mag awhile back and there is a need out in those parts to continue the work bob/dave/mike doyle started.  Sorry for my spelling, this blog hopefully will help those issues.

God bless libs

27 But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty; 28 and the base things of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are, 29 that no flesh should glory in His presence.aydenhomeskool

“ You were the seal of perfection,
Full of wisdom and perfect in beauty.
13 You were in Eden, the garden of God;
Every precious stone was your covering:
The sardius, topaz, and diamond,
Beryl, onyx, and jasper,
Sapphire, turquoise, and emerald with gold.
The workmanship of your timbrels and pipes
Was prepared for you on the day you were created.
14 “ You were the anointed cherub who covers;
I established you;
You were on the holy mountain of God;
You walked back and forth in the midst of fiery stones.
15 You were perfect in your ways from the day you were created,
Till iniquity was found in you.
16 “ By the abundance of your trading
You became filled with violence within,
And you sinned;
Therefore I cast you as a profane thing
Out of the mountain of God;
And I destroyed you, O covering cherub,
From the midst of the fiery stones.
17 “ Your heart was lifted up because of your beauty;
You corrupted your wisdom for the sake of your splendor;
I cast you to the ground,
I laid you before kings,
That they might gaze at you.
18 “ You defiled your sanctuaries
By the multitude of your iniquities,
By the iniquity of your trading;
Therefore I brought fire from your midst;
It devoured you,
And I turned you to ashes upon the earth
In the sight of all who saw you.
19 All who knew you among the peoples are astonished at you;
You have become a horror,
And shall be no more forever.”’”the-emo
